Area Ambulance is now hiring an Administrative Services Director. This proven leader will ensure the accuracy of all clinical and operational data, oversee clinical continuous quality improvement, and facilitate ongoing training for clinical staff.

Area ambulance is the regional 9-1-1 Emergency Medical Services provider for Cedar Rapids, Marion, and 15 surrounding communities. Previous experience in compliance, HIPPA compliance, and a medical background is strongly preferred.

A growth mindset is required in this director position. The ideal candidate will be career-driven, immensely self-driven, and have a genuine desire to grow the company by providing leadership, mentorship, guidance, and accountability to clinical staff members.

Required skills and experience:
• 1-5 years of supervisory and/or management experience
• Valid driver’s license; clean driving record (insurance purposes)
• Superior and proven organization and leadership skills
• Build/maintain relationships with hospital committees

Required Education:
• High school diploma required
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
